1 ¹⁄₂ oz	Irish whiskey
1 oz	Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
²⁄₃ oz	Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)

Prepare:

Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

How to make:

POUR all ingredients into ice-filled glass.
STIR.

Garnish:

EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Having recently discovered the Charlie Pie, I tried a Seamus Pie. I served over a large rock. The Irish whisky (Jameson black barrel) is really so mild one could almost bump it up to 50ml. I enjoyed that the Campari did not dominate the quality vermouth di Torino. Very tasty!

A bit like the missing link between the Boulevardier and the Negroni. I used Tullamore Dew, Cocchi vermouth Di Torino and it was mellow and delightful.

Started to make this with 40ml Bushmill's Original, was out of Cocchi Storico so I used Punt e Mes 30ml and Campari 40ml plus zest.Tasted it, added 15ml Bushmills and as per John's observation a few drops of orange bitters. The results were quite nice!

I found Campari overpowering with irish whiskey. Tried 4/2/1 ratio on whiskey/vermouth/Campari.
To me it works better.

Very flavourful and perfect in the evening or after a dinner. Slightly sweet, but the Irish whiskey does stand against the bitters and vermouth. Tried per the recipe, but then added 3 drops of orange bitters to enhanced the garnish. The orange bitters enhanced the flavours and brightened the cocktail.
